Andrew is a highly experienced investor in, and adviser to early stage, technology-based businesses. A BSc , he Mech Eng graduate, he enjoyed several years in technical and international sales, before taking his own electronics business from start-up to trade sale in nine years.

For the past 25 years Andrew has worked with high-growth companies - investing, advising and coaching. He managed UniVentures International for almost a decade before heading the management buyout that led to the formation of Inkopo, one of Yorkshire’s technology firms and incubator operators. He founded the Viking Fund in 2004 and completed some 70+ investments in more than 25 companies.

In 2009, Inkopo was acquired by Braveheart Investment Group plc and changed its name to Viking Fund Managers. In 2012, Andrew helped Braveheart acquire Neon Capital Partners which manages the Finance Yorkshire Equity Fund.  Andrew's involvement with the Yorkshire Association of Business Angels (YABA) goes back to 1995, and he has been Chairman since 2009.
