In 2009, Alison McKinna joined Tribal – a leading international provider of technology products and services to the education, learning and training markets – to manage a company-wide change to common operating systems and processes following a period of rapid expansion through acquisitions.

As Operations Director Alison manages business operations to improve service, reduce risk and maximise profitability. She is adept at responding to the challenges of diverse markets and customer needs of the Tribal Group which encompases different locations, skill sets, staff requirements and working practices.

Previously Alison has worked in the utilities, financial services, insurance and technology industries managing change in business strategy and operations to enhance service performance and profitability. She has managed transformation and operations in different business environments from large scale organisational change, rapid expansion, international market entry and emergency organisational response.

Alison is also a Non-Executive Director at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. She completed her MBA at Nottingham University Business School and continues her interest in the changing business environment, decision making, risk management and the developing demands for different characteristics of leadership.
