Leila is a writer, maker and broadcaster based in Sheffield. Leila’s work often mixes humour with nerd sensibilities: she is the co-creator of popular geek comedy podcast Shift Run Stop and was a columnist for the BBC Comedy website.

She often writes about hacking for Wired UK and is happiest when she is making interesting new things out of words and systems.

She is the Managing Editor of The Literary Platform, the creator of two humour books, editor of an occasional newspaper for hackers, and a regular speaker on everything from the culture of technology to creativity and science fiction.
